Hello David excellent weapons I must say.. I have a Colt 1911 myself deact. Being in Britain thats the way the cookies crumbles.. Anywhere I tried to buy that book you posted on here reference Colt pistols!!!! £823 "thats pounds sterling" from Amazon that is nearly the same price I paid for my pistol!!needless too say I didnt purchase it!!!!!!! yep I had a quick look on Amazon & thats the price!!! so I didnt look any further!!!..I thought the Iron Cross books where pricey!!! at 300 odd. So I dont know were they plucked that price from!!!!.

Clawson wrote a (massive) book years ago which is now a collector's item.
That is the expensive book.
I believe the title was Colt .45 Service Pistols or Colt .45 Government Models.
