    I believe this may be a stock for the 03 Springfield...

    Yep, I agree it is a Springfield stock. I can't see clearly enuf from your photos to tell whether it is an 03 or an 03A3 stock.

    Pictures are pretty poor but it's not an 03A3. It's an 03 as it has the finger groove. See picture.

    The indentation is for the cut-off switch, not for a lefty (Lefty 03's were commercial only).
