What are its dimensions? Also what does the lettering on the back of the metal closure stud say?

Hello

the length of the holster is about 7 3/4 inches
the clip part is about 4 1/2 inches
cant read the stud to difficult too make out

It could be for a Walther PP or a Browning Model 1910/22 pistol. But it would be extremely difficult to pin down when it was actually made.

it is a Tokarev holster more specifically for the M57
Yugoslavian and of course post war.
Common, you can get a near unissued M57 and holster today.....

I was thinking it could be a Tokarev holster but Soviet types have the closure strap on the body of the holster with the stud on the flap-Yugoslav makes sense!
