WW2 Small Arms Collection in New Zealand
Article about: Yes, you did. The Reising is the folding stock version, and the Johnson is a standard issue. Quite a rare rifle to find nowdays. It still shoots OK, although the barrel is a bit worn.

Yes. i am re-doing the weapons vids over the next few months. I think this will be a much better forum to share the collection with than You tube (too many COD plaayers and 'gun nuts').

No, it's a Brit manufacture. I haven't seen any Lithgow guns here in NZ, but I guess there must be a few around somewhere. The poor Aussies had to destroy all theirs.
Do you know Rod Woods?
If you let me know the serial number I can give you some production details. I can also give you details of a guy who makes 100% perfect reproductions of the Butt handle as I see you have one of those that are on Ebay sometimes.

Good spot, I'm about 98% sure it is. Theres one in the UK for sale but I can't justify the price. I can get a Lewis gun for the same money!
