Nice looking firearms and nice photos, ray
I try to collect items that were from that same period..
    1943 M1 Garand and 1911A1
Pack of Lucky Strikes - Actual K-ration pack.. (Still has Cigarettes inside)
1943 they changed the pack from green to white to save the die for the war effort.
They added the phrase L.S./M.F.T (Lucky strike, means fine tobacco)
The 1943 Wheat Steel Pennies, Copper was diverted for the war effort
    The 1943 silver nickels.
The Bore Cleaning can (Still has cleaner in it) it "stinks"
Even the 30-06 ammo has a 1943 head stamp.

Same with the Mauser, the Stamps, Coins and ammo are all 1942 dated
I even got flashlights from the period, with period batteries.

Great stuff and display, fwiw....I would replace the reproduction bayonet set in the first picture with a nice original. And also find a nice field bayonet for the K98.

I found a period bayonet for the M1 and tossed the Reproduction.
    it's a Cut down 1905.

on the hunt for a German Bayonet next.

    Cool

I also like 1943 dated military stuff.
I have most of the German, US, Brit u. ruskie WW 2 gunz and a lot of misc eqpt u. gear.
I also have a good selection of Viet Nam stuff - some of which I brought back. On dated items I gravitate to 1967, but have a lot of other too.
