WWII shoulder holster

Hi guys picked this up this weekend not sure if its WWII but it has the look. It fits a 45 but it has no marking. Thanks for looking Gary

I know when I was in the US Army in the late 70s those holster are what the Tankers would wear, however they were black at that time so this maybe earlier or maybe a reproduction?? Most real US Military holsters I've seen have a stamped date and manufacturers name but hey I'm no expert!

Sargetom thank you for looking . Yes i have several of those. The only other thing I'm thinking is it might be a special made holster for a guy who wants an extra mag. Gary
