The condition of that MG42 is mind-blowing - it looks like a different metal finish was used on the barrel coupling, a brownish chemical finish to the metal as opposed to the blue used for the front and rear receiver sections.
I have never seen this before - are these original finish guns? Absolutely stunning, thanks for posting.
I collect ww2 MP40 mags too, but you have me beat with codes, there.
The MP44 is a primo example, too - even finish.
