I always wondered why the Germans seemed to prefer 7,65mm to the
9mmK?

FN was producing 9mmK pistols in 1940 and the occupying Germans carried on production, but with the calibre changed to 7,65 mm.

To me a 9mmK seems more effective than a 7,65mm. Or am I mistaken?

The Germans even changed the calibre of the Hungarian Femaru pistol from .380 to .32.I think .380 is more effective,but I am unsure of the Nazi's motivation.Thanks for your input.
