I have fired one of these myself, we bought a massive sardine tin of surplus Soviet 762 and went for an afternoon of plinking in Wyoming. It certainly does interesting things to a large cylinder of oxygen. Nice one Martin

Great looking deer Eric. Those SKS's are great on deer. I sell HP rounds for hunting for them.
Maybe Martin can come over and go hunting here in the great midwest. We seem to have a lot of deer.
You know the corn fed kind. Best eating around.

    I just love the SKS.
Mine is a Russian SKS paid 150.00$ Back in 1992.
I use the stock off of a Chinese one so as not to scratch up the original.

    Hi John,

The rifle granade came with the SKS, its soviet I believe ? Its only a practice round I assume ! Post some pictures, the SKS feels really natural to hold, a nice balance about it !

It is the law in Missouri to have a orange vest and hat for rifle season.
Deer are color blind that helps.

Things change state to state on the hunter orange laws.
Bow season you can go all camo here though I do not bow hunt.
HP is for hollow point,We are not allowed to use FMJ full metal jacket.
They can travel to far, after going through your target.
Some states you can only use a shotgun with a slug to hunt.
