Adolf Hitler Profile Plaque

Hello guys,

I have been rather busy as of late celebrating my 18th birthday

Anyway, I have seen this AH profile plaque for sale and at a good price.

It appears to be well made and has a very good likeness to the man himself.

Do you believe it to be original, the frame looks new.

There are a dozen of these currently on iOffer, all original according to the accompanying blurb and varying in price from $100-$1500. Not much difference there then.

I love the 3/4 shot, it looks like a Picasso with those eyes!

As Ned says above Glen, there are indeed plenty on iOffer. Generally, that is a bad sign.

So how would I know if this is a piece of poo from Ioffer or a genuine piece?

Are they normally signed or do the originals possess characteristics that are not seen on reproductions?

I get the feeling that it's "trying" to look old by using that rough (yet remarkably clean) background cloth plus artificially worn frame -- that they are seemingly exclusive to iOffer is not a good sign either imho. I've never seen one like this on any serious dealer sites... I'd go for another type of AH plaque, it doesn't seem this is a period item to me. Happy 18th bd btw!
