    The eagle has what looks like a very original wear to it too and slightly sunk down into the leather.

    The paper tag is in Latvian but it is hard to belive this item is also Latvian made. For me it seems pretty gay but as we all know there were also many homosexuals in SA.

    As far as I know Latvian tag is like a information from Dr. Ludwigs Kalnins business card - his address in Riga and information about his profession - seems that he owns or works in some kind of laboratory. It is hard to belive that the card and item are connected in any way.

    I'm thinking it might not be hitler at all but just some schmuk who thought the toothbrush 'stache was cool at the time. Maybe this is just a bedside portrait for someone's dear mother who wanted to be kept warm at night with a picture of her homosexual, latvian-nazi son on the bedside table.

    (not that there's anything wrong with that)
