Nice dusty wall plaque of "Der Fuhrer".
W Wolff is the maker.
Quite heavy too
Had it for ages, just "re-found" it on my book shelf under some crap books, completely forgotten about it
I think I got for about £120, not sure really.

I've had one of those for probably 50 yrs. doesn't exactly fit into a militaria collection, but I thought it was neat so have it hanging on my pistol wall along with one of Georing about half as big.

Nice original plaque.
Is it made from coated zinc or spelter or some heavier material?
I like rediscovering itms from my collection as well. Your plaque would make a nice office decoration
Cheers Doug
I think they are cast iron. Mine is pretty heavy.

Thanks Sarge,
you are correct I can see the rust on one of the pictures and that rear mounting bar is fairly typical of cast iron pieces.
Walther Wolff was quite a prominent sculptor/artist during the TR regime and this plaque is more than likely an example taken from the bust that he did of AH in 1933.
Cheers

Nice plaque. I think it's a very good collectible item
I'm glad I bought this original one too, never really thought about getting one to be honest.
Just saw it one fine day and thought "well, why not?"
Nice plaque --- weren't these actually officially commissioned by the party? I believe I have read this somewhere.
