Very nice piece! When I see beautiful amber items from the TR period, I often harken back to the l poo st or missing "Amber room" taken from Poland...could such things be part o f it,? Who knows...

There doesn't seem to be particularly much wear to the rings, I wonder what may have become of the young couple??

Thanks for the kind words guys. The wedding bands show wear especially inside around the engraving. Amber was said to have been the "sacred stone" of the early Germanic's which makes sense on it's popularity during the TR.
Not shown in the photos, even the feet of the casket are made of amber as well.
