I picked up this Arno Breker sketch on fleabay. All though he was more of a sculpture, I was wondering what people thought. The guy has another more extensive I wanted, as long as everything looks official, thanks.

I picked up this Arno Breker sketch on fleabay. All though he was more of a sculpture, I was wondering what people thought. The guy has another more extensive I wanted, as long as everything looks official, thanks.
A nice life study probably of a studio model. The pose is interesting and could well be for a sculptural group. It appears to be a chalk or pastel drawing, but difficult to be sure from the photo which is not sharp. The thing to be wary of is that rather than being an original it could be photo-lithograph or some other type of print, rather than the original by the artist. Needless to say a print is worth a lot less than an original. How to tell? remove it from the frame.
