    Goodevening guys,

Past Sunday I visited an antique market while on vacation.
I met this lovely German older couple who had a few 'Bierkrüge' for sale and I bought the one shown in the pictures.
Eventhough I don't have any experience with a bierkrug, it looked good to me and I had to have it.
    Hope you like it!

    Regards, Rik

    Sorry!
I am not a expert, but in this period there for sure were no beersteins with 0,4 liter content.

A lot of bars/kneipe in Germany serve beer by the .4 measure now but i'm not sure if they did in the past!...

Thanks for the input guys. Maybe someone with more knowledge will put in some thoughts. And if it does appear to be post TR, that's my own fault and I'll accept it and learn from it.

I am a german and i am drinking beer for more than 40 years.
If i remember right this 0,4 Liter steins came up 20 to 25 years ago.
The time before 0,5 or 1 Liter steins were common.

This stein is still a good one to drink a good german beer

I believe this is a fantasy piece. The 'Deutsche Kraftfahrt' and eagle logo are copied from the masthead of the official NSKK magazine and the '1938' is out of place--there shouldn't be a date if the stein is not a commemorative souvenir for a specific event or holiday. I hope it wasn't very expensive.

Yeah, I already found out this isn't an authentic TR stein. And luckily it wasn't that expensive. It's a good thing we can learn from our mistakes.
