Hi Dave, these trademarks carried the name Germany in English just is case they were used for Export. Easier to have one generic mark.

Can You please post close up picture of the markings? Are the markings under the glaze? Sorry but for me this design remembers 1960-s.

I am now certain the cup and saucer are post war fakes, any thoughts guys ?

" It seems clear that they are modern reproductions - and not original period items .The feel of them is wrong - and the factory mark is not printed/stamped directly but appears to be a decal/transfer(?). The (low) resolution of the photos you posted made it impossible to see this in the originals. This is especially obvious on the underside of the cup when holding it at an angle against the light (see attached photo). "

I am pretty certain the cup and saucer are post war, with fake factory stamps

If you look at a certain angle you can see that the mark is in a fact a decal applied under the glaze or baked on itself

I am trying to return these to the dealer but they are ignoring my emails !
