Cigarette?? Box for identification please????

Hi All, I aquired this little wooden box a few years ago and I have no idea of its age or use. It came with a few TR badges so it could possibly by a vet bring back? It is well made with a nice brass depiction of the Plon badge on the lid. The badge has a tiny stamping which appears to read as "Handarbell" and a logo which looks like an "S" superempossed over a "M". The Plon castle badge is flanked by the date? 1236 possibly the foundation date so I am speculating that the box could perhaps be a souvenier of 700th birthday of Plon ergo 1936????????????????????

Plön is a town in Schleswig-Holstein. The badge incorparetes the symbols from its coat-of-arms with decorative elements, the town's name and the year when Plön was granted town rights.

There is nothing to indicate or contradict a connection to some specific anniversary, really...

The stamped term is "HANDARBEIT" = "HAND MADE". No idea about the maker's mark, sorry.

The construction of the box does not look old . Most likely a tourist piece I feel.
