After ww2 these grainsacks were mostly used when making beds. If you go into a antiques shop, you can find these locally made beds with the bottoms made out of reissued grain/supply sacks.
Reissued german items can also be found in the walls or cellars of houses that were made after ww2, carpenters used whatever they could find. So the german ammo/transport crates were used.

So everytime you find something "old" with a these types of eagles, it is 99% certain made after spring 45.

This could be, and likely is, a nice old $40 'Sally Ann' ( Salvation
Army ) chair with an original but reasonably inexpensive grain
sack inserted - purposely showing the printed eagle - to
jack the price and intentionally lure a sucker.........
