Ronnie, I remember seeing something similar yrs ago but i think the eagle was smaller, made of brass or bronze and had a shield or plaque in its beak denoting the 1936 Olympic games, if memory serves there were inscriptions around its base, but the configuration was nearly the same , a swooping eagle on a rocky plinth, whether it was kosher or not ive no idea

Just worked out where i saw mine, Cheshunt militaria fair, the first one i attended in my area, organised by the HANDS militaria fairs who also do Farnham and i think Chelmsford
