German forks with strange marking - original or not?

Article about: I just got a box of German forks, in unused condition and with strange stamp. Stamp remembers me german eagle but is very small. I personally have not ever seen such marking.

I quess these forks are made of aluminium or some other light metal and then plated. The stamp is under the plating so if somebody just faked them he had to use the stamp at first. I have had many III Reich spoons, forks and knives but never seen such stampings.

I don't remember ever seeing aluminum being coated before. Seems awful odd. But, given the coarseness of the metal quality, I'm still thinking that these are modern fakes.
