I can do that, I am in the U.S and in a gun friendly environment so the only thing neutered here is my dog. All guns are functional and I actually took some photos of them or two of them the other day which I can show later after coffee and morning correspondance here. The dinnerware is featured in Johnson's hardcover on War Booty and when I saw it I recognized it and went for the book. Apparently the veteran acquired pieces there were taken and shown to Speer in 1977 where he identified them in writing and not sure how but Traudl was contacted in 1997 and did the same. Based on what they say it was apparently Deutscher Hof and Reichsbahn. I think maybe the similarity to the gold bordered RB piece might have caused some confusion so long after the war but it is possible. I know its a book and cannot take everything as godsend but it all adds up to a number where I think it is safe to say. So much fake porcelain out there these days really, but I have to say that when you grab the real deal its really almost easy. But that is what I do as well. ;o)

Lol, that is going to be a term used for years to come everywhere as a joke, the famous " self authenticating " items. I went to a different school and I cannot think of one item that authenticates itself. Some of the items talk, we have one lookers, and all kinds of slang but that one takes the cake. Of course I will not argue with the sources seeing who they are, but whether its a brooch or a plate, or a badge, I still try to have fun with it more than anything and just remember its a hobby.
