Looks modern to me but i'm no expert!....any maker marks on the rear?...
A lot of pitting from poor casting, a postwar creation IMHO

Agreed. It has to be said that there are literally hundreds of these advertised on iOffer and Craigslist etc. every week.

Thank you. I thought it looked like this example Collect Russia 10" x 8" Adolf Hitler wall hanger plaque, in metal on oak. Soviet Russian and has similar tarnish around the ear and hair line. Perhaps it's a cast of it. There are no markings on the back. It is solid metal unlike the usual hollow ceramic I'm used to seeing.
It's somewhat modeled after a common type of Hitler plaque, but, unfortunately, this one looks to be a poorly made modern piece.
