Interesting Rally Lantern

Gents,

I recently had a fellow Militaria collector offer this item to me and to say the least, I have never seen one like this. A rather interesting uncommon item (at least to me)

The other panels are brittle but still an interesting display piece. Feel free to chime in on this one guys.

What are the swastika panels made of, is it just paper? Might be worth attempting to fabricate replacement panels for those missing ones?

So perhaps you could make a template using one of the intact panels and then either do a scan onto acetate or spraymount that onto thin perspex sheet and complete it? An interesting project, just not something you see every day - but you might not want to hang it up for Christmas...
