As so often it was crowded yesterday (Saturday May 14th),
during Militracks at Overloon (Netherlands) at the area of
    the war-museum with many dealer-stands.
Not much rain, lots and lots of visitors (over 6.500 it was said)
and many great vehicles, riding through the woods.

Some photos made by my friend Patrick Vereijken:

Thought shall be the harder , heart the keener,
Courage the greater as our strength faileth.
Here lies our leader ,in the dust of his greatness.
Who leaves him now , be damned forever.
We who are old now shall not leave this Battle,
But lie at his feet , in the dust with our leader

    Now one year later: 2017.
Is there anybody going to "Militracks" at Overloon (Netherlands) on Saturday May 20th?

Yes indeed, when two major formations ran up that road each unaware of the presence of the other until "all hell broke loose"! I have visited Overloon when I was stationed in Rheindahlen just over the border but I never knew about Militracks. Maybe it began after I was posted beck to UK in 1999, oh that makes me feel old

Had I known it was on this year I think I would have given my bike a run but too late now

I hope someone will post on the subject

    Regards

    Mark

This special event is anyway runing since 2011, as far as I know
and practically every year it is mentioned here at WRF!
