    Great thread here, thanks for the look at these neat steins. Ironically, as most know, Hitler was not much of a drinker in fact he preferred a low alcohol provincial pilsner called Fachinger which is still in business and sells spring water.

    Grimminger and pals getting ready to march, note the gates of Burgerbraukeller. I believe a Hilton hotel is on that site now.

    Reanimation of theme.

    Here are three Munich bottles from my collection :

    1. Sterneckerbrau. The Movement was founded here
    2. Hofbrauhaus. Adolf began first political meetings here
    3. Burgerbrau. The "Bier putsch" and attempt on Fuhrer was here

    All bottles was find in Ostpreussen (Kaliningrad`s region today).

    There are no such bottles even on the German ebay !
