Hello Kameraden

I got this (what i think is . . . ) a Luftwaffe bowl from my wife.

1St thing i thought to myself was, damn i got the best women ever ! And i really really love her

2Th thing was : Is this a bowl intended for soup ?

3Th : What does F.I.U.V means ?

4 : She told me that it is rather a rare piece . . . Lets listen what the expert have to say about that ?

Looks ok to me it is Flieger Unterkunft Verwaltung, which is German for flight barracks administration.

a canteen bowl of the luftwaffe....

this porcelain manufacture stamp is a special one . in 1938 the germans occupied czechoslovakia .the "bohemia" manufacture became part of "allach" , at least to the ss.

This bowl was used for boiled potatoes as far as i know. But of course You can use it also for Sauerkraut or for a salad if You wish. I have similar bowls and I used them for Sauerkraut and bloodsausages yesterday:-)

PS. A nice Christmas present and 100% original one!

I don't see SS sign in this bohemia Dish ?

it is safe , that these bowl were made in the bohemia factory, which was controlled and managed by the ss . they produced nice civilian porcelain too.

your stamp is an earlier stamp , but still used in 1942 ...
