Nazi eagle - Is it a fake???
I have no idea if this Nazi eagle is real or not. It seemed to be hanging off of something and looks like either oil was spilled on it or it was burned. (maybe originally painted black at one time?) I also have no idea what this object is called or what it was used for. Any suggestions of what it might be are also appreciated.

Strange bird indeed - Based on the construction etc I would place it in the post-45 period.

One of my friends told me it looked like an SS eagle I'm probably gonna re post this there and see what others might think of it.
Looks like it's supposed to be a 'watch fob'.

Kind of reminds me of a police eagle. Either way I believe this to be a post war fake. And FYI this would be the correct section to post this (The art and exotica section sort of acts as a "catch all" for weird, unidentified stuff).
I am seeing an NSKK eagle, what are the measurements? is that a strap for the upper slot underneath it?. That lower stepped wing is telling.

I can't judge its size but might it be a grill badge for auto?
I think there is another piece and its a mount to the rear and maybe an NSKK banner to the top and dual purpose. So the front would be the banner and the rear would be an upper mount for what it would be made for. A motor cycle?. You need clean photos of the machine work on those cut outs and close ups to boot. I bet " if its real " and it might be that it mounted maybe over the front fender of a motorcycle. Then it works.
