Uncle purchase from Manions in 1998. The catalog describes this as Aryan / art-deco 15.5" tall statue. Good condition overall except for a few scratches mainly on back of legs.
Any idea on value of this piece?

The withness at the back where they scratched the metal could reveal it is no bronze!!
To me not of a great importance, but it does when it has to be valued.
I would think it is made of zamak.
Interestingly, the design of the winged man (apart from the sphere on which he is standing) appears to be identical to the one used for the Jupiter award annually awarded by the German movie magazine "Cinema". See here for comparison:

Interesting.
I think the NSFK link is tenuous at best.
But it is a nice looking Art Deco item which would sell well without any Nazi connection in the right sale.
As Kris has correctly pointed out, it is not bronze. Here we would call it "Spelter".
Cheers, Ade.
Heres a period NSFK Icarus bronze statue, has the NSFK emblem on the marble base.
