I almost wonder if the disk itself might not be made of Amber, as the Germans were great admirers of it and would use it for prestigious gifts and awards. Probably Not, but it certainly looks good. Amber did come in many different forms-opaque, semi-transparent, golden, milky, yellow...all sorts of varieties.

That has got to be one of the nicest non portable items I've seen. Particularly with the case. What is the size of it. Looks fairly large. All the items you show are very nice.
