One of a Kind 1920's-1930's Schützenkönig Gorget Style Shooting Award Group

Hello all. I thought I would share this one of a kind 1920's - 1930's Schützenkönig gorget style shooting award group. I have never seen anything like this before. Covers two decades with different names and dates, so I don't know if this was a traveling trophy with the last winner retaining possession or if it belonged to a particular shooting club or organization. It is made of mostly silver with various coins and medals applied. It is quite heavy and a real looker. Any thoughts on this would be great. Thank you, Mike

Very nice and most of these were the property of shooting clubs or cities and towns.
Tom Wittmann in fact had one and he returned it to the city that it was liberated from by a GI.

Very cool. They still wear those on the specific occasions to this day - well at least I saw it in the 1990's when I was stationed in Germany.

A very fascinating piece, most probably ended up a war prize seized by an Allied serviceman.

Yes, this was brought back by an American infantryman. The family stated that the a German officer was not too happy when this was taken off the wall and he had to be restrained at rifle point.
