RARE or fake sign in Antique store?? Help

Im going on trip to the capitol this weekend and I wanna find something nice in an antique store.
What do u guys think of this item? The store wants 136 dollars for it..

This is a postwar item commemorating the war/dead....not worth the price in my opinion.

Glenn is right post war but not necessarily war dead could be a veterans remembrance item-

Original but in bad condition and nothing too special. For $136 You can get something better I quess.

Hard to make out the quality from this photo but the crack doesn't do much for it. It's one of those pieces that you really want to own or have a specific interest or use for, probably not something the average collector would be interested in at that price. How big is it?

Its over priced? Dont know the size, only seen this pic on the stores website. Im not gonna buy it now know of a cheap k98 for sale
