So, you finally did get the dinner plate? Good job! The 2 plates together should make for an awesome display! And, as for Vegemite? Scraped off beer vat sludge? Nah...I'd much prefer High Scottish Grouse. When you hang those grouse by the neck and the body rots off and drops to the ground and you snatch them up and throw them in the roaster? Mmmm...mmmm! Good stuff!

G'day William,
I did end up getting it mate, I decided that although it was quite expensive they don't come up too often so I had to grab it. It will look great with the smaller one and I'm sure they will look great in my Berlin display cabinet when it's finally finished.

Sometimes, even though it's expensive, you just have to figure "When or Will I ever see one again and have a chance at owning it?" and just bite your lip and pick it up. So many times we hesitate and for the next 25 years you'll be looking for one that never does come. Great pick up and now you own Two fine pieces of History that Were There!

As promised gents, a decent Aussie breakfast with the five food groups taken care of! Old Adolf will be turning in his bomb crater, couldn't happen to a nicer bloke. ( the beer was for artistic purposes only, it's more of a lunchtime item) right, I've got work to do today will be back here later.
Cheers,
Dave.

Why is a West Aussie drinking VB???
There are a couple of reasons, have you ever drunk emu export? (First reason) second reason, emu bitter ( wife basher), third reason, I always drank tooheys red ( yes I know, Sydney beer) but I got a bit disappointed when Tooheys was taken over by the Kiwis so out of spite I started drinking VB. There's a bit more to it but that is basically the story Glenn. I know, you've lost all respect for me........nothing my wife wife hasn't done many times!

Correct.
Mind you, the only Aussie beer I can buy here is Fosters (yuck), VB (say no more) and Crown Lager (which unless absolutely ice cold make me retch). Hence my preference for Peroni or Becks.
-
I've been several times Down Under and for me personally it doesn't matter what brand of beer you're drinking.
What really matters to me is that you drink your beer with the right person(s).

Glenn, I wouldn't wash my dog in fosters because I love my dog! Visitors beer, it's better than some!
