Great items indead, but I think they are not to be related to "runes", but just geometrical decorating figures.

I just find it strange that such a similar design to runes would be used within such a short period after the war. I agree that they are not Runes as such, but it seems a strange choice to use, bearing in mind their similarity and their recent significance.

Indeed, way too late to be Deco, though in the style of that period. Still seems a strange choice for a German maker to produce these so soon after the war.

The high art deco designs of the late 1930's was interupted by the war years. There was a limited revival post war and some 50's designs clearly showed the influence.
