    imo maybe just post-war commemorative piece - fake would have the swastika to add to the value

    Just Googled 'SS Art. Abt. 867 commemorative plaque' and got two hits for a couple of the same pieces for sale on collectors websites, one being American, and one Russian.

    And they're asking $2160....Not much difference there then.

    There seems to be a few of these kicking around, too many for my liking, at disparate prices. I think they're probably bogus, especially when you weigh up the other opinions on this thread that all carry weight.
