I have seen these for sale. 4 chairs marked SS, and what is sold as a HJ made bench. The bench certainly looks 'old' enough, but I am not sure about the chairs. Any thoughts please?

The only thought I would have would be "proceed with caution"
Unless they have some form of provedence then they are a bit on the scary side of the fence IMO.

Hi Al ,they look more like something custom made for a bit of a loon to me. I think I would give them and the seller a "wide berth"! Leon.
I really couldn't persuade the wife to find room for these even if I wanted them! I thought they might be an interesting item for some members to comment on as I have never seen anything like them.

Interesting if it is 101% provenance. Without it, i would proceed with caution.
If they have provenance I will let you all know - I am assuming a vet bring back letter plus photo would work maybe?
I personally don't think they are anything but period furniture that have been dazzled to open up another market for them. I wouldn't make room for them.
