SS dog plaque

I accuired this one today. I´m in the process of narrowing down my extensive collection of different WW2 items I have collected since my childhood (and mainly in my youth). I would appreciate any comments regarding the plaque. Dog handling competitions by the SS in general etc.

According to the seller (TRD) the wooden frame measures 15” by 13 ½” . It would be interesting to hear your general opinions about this one.

I like it a lot although I need to do some background research about "Das Deutsche Hundewesen" in the prewar years and maybe this particular event too. Just saw an interesting documentary about the German fascination with Schaefers during the Nazi era.
