Stone family insigna??

hi all...i was offered to buy this Stone insigna with date and family name E.Steinel...on a side there is carved something else that i dont' understand...measures 31,5 cm x 31 x 11
What do you think it is?' a family emblem? do you think it can have a good value or is not so scarce as described??

Oh - just a speculation - but you see often similar ones here on older graveyards
