Torpedoboot KM Christmas plaque?

Hi guys, have you seen such thing before? Looks and feels original, but who knows... Portrait of a sailor, I guess it is not a particular person, but rather a general image of all sailors? The small plate under the head says Weichnachsten 1936.

What is it - some type of KM award, KM present to the sailors for Christmas'36 or a commercial souvenir of that time? The size is 17 by 23 cm, these are the only photos that I have for now.

Theo - Its a commemorative plaque that was either given by the unit or purchased by the person to remind him of his service and time on a "Torpedo boat" - It is a period peice.

Thank you very much, Horst and Ade! It turned out the plaque was not alone, but with a small grouping of documents and photos. Nothing so much, but some nice pieces of a personal story. I made a thread with these things in the Photo and Paper forum.
