Yes , sorry to say , the SA eagle is not original to this bugle ,but put there to sell. im not well up on Nazi era Bugles , but i have a WW1 German one and the flare at the exit (resting on table ) flattens out and is wider than Brittish types .

A modern copy which crops up all the time on ebay. You usually come across them with poor quality regimental badges soldered on. Prices vary from £14.99p to as much as £180 - depending on what the seller is claiming about them. British military bugles are almost always marked with the WD stamp and broad arrow mark, and also the maker's name and date.

I have seen these copies at different shows in the USA with different style eagles attatched to them. Regards Don
