    Okay, one more Bread Plate that I just added to my collection with a neat Pagan saying attributed to the Norse Edda. This plate is very large at 13.5". This one along with the other will go in my Yule corner.

    Erich - Nice addition to that Yule Corner
    I used to have a wooden plate from the period which read"Mit Bruder in Not Teile Dein Brot", it was in the same form as your last plate posted.
