It appears this pocket watch would of probably been worth more if it wasn’t ruined with fake waffen ss markings....

Very surprised that this one is missing a rzm mark. Perhaps you can get your money back.

Michiel1971: I know that you want to believe that the watch is what you believe it to be; but it’s not. Andreas, Anderson, Brodiebartfast et. al., who know what they are talking about, have laid it all out for you. The only point I can add is to suggest that you ask yourself, what would a SS-man be doing with a pocket watch, a timepiece that went out of style as a common timepiece for men in the First World War when the British government started issuing “trench watches” (wrist watchs) to soldiers. Horology, the study and measurement of time and the art of making clocks and watches is an arcane subject, but one that happens to interest me. It is one of my many wasted pastimes. Looking at the photos you posted, and allowing for color distortion caused by being displayed on a digital screen, it looks like a common pocket watch produced in Europe in the 1920’s. Dwight

SS Pocket Watch, Real or Fake???

    SS Officer Pocket Watch

Pocket watch with eagle and swastika on face: fake or real?

Fake LAH Pocket-Watch bidding is at $405...

    And there are more.

As noted above...they take a real watch and tart it up....

Generally old pocket watches are not in demand and cheap. Throw on some Swastika's, SS runes, eagles, engravings, RZM marks, etc. etc. and you get these...
