Graphic design is a science in and of itself. The Germans have excelled in this area of graphic design for years. I honestly believe that if Hitler had not gone down the road he went, he would have been a successful graphic designer. He had a natural eye for what commands attention. His design of the swastika flag is the best example. Also, his rough sketches for party emblems, uniforms and the DE standard shows his immense talent in this area.

Life goes on even during WWII
For me it is an unknown brand. It's shoe polish. In France it must have been quite popular in the 1940s, I found out that it was advertised as the cheapest.
Another one, more popular.
