Thought shall be the harder , heart the keener,
Courage the greater as our strength faileth.
Here lies our leader ,in the dust of his greatness.
Who leaves him now , be damned forever.
We who are old now shall not leave this Battle,
But lie at his feet , in the dust with our leader
House Carles at the Battle of Hastings
I try to find another after war photo of him, I'm sure there are some more out there.
This photograph of the last surviving SS-Sturmbannführer Heder was taken last year during a meeting of the OdR. Sorry for the bad image, I photographed it direct out of the OdR magazine from 11/2015. I hope it's from interest.
I try to get another after war picture of buck, but I can promise nothing.
Regards
I met Eberhard Heder a number of times at OdR meetings , he is now the Waffen SS " Senior "
