it's a well known fake coming out of eastern europe that is an excellent copy of the RZM authorized poopenstein throne. These fakers are really honing their craft and making it hard to feel confident building a colelction of TR thunder mugs. Hopefully someone has a picture of one in use so we can compare. I'm sure there were field made custom versions for high rank officers though. I'm not sure if that is factory paint or not. There may be some pictures in this book that will help collectors:
