Basically we won the war because Hitler was a damned fool who bit off way more than the Germans could chew! If they hadn't wasted so much in the
Battle of Britian, and put it all into Barbarossa. who knows? And declaring war against the USA was not a real smart move, either. Fortunately for all of us Hitler WAS a damned fool! If he had developed the ME 262 instead of pissing away manpower & materials on V1 and V2. We would all be speaking German. But that is just my opuinion, I could be wrong. And if he had put more time & money into the Atomic bomb they were working on - Well, let's thank God Hitler was not as smart as he thought he was!

His Generals were top notch, yet he tried to run things himself. That, and the lack of long-range bombers is a few more reasons why he lost the war in Russia. There are no doubt 1000's of reasons why he lost the war. I just covered the main reasons. I am still very glad he did not pursue the heavy water project more... Can you imagine that lunatic with half a dozen nukes?
