The Invalids' Cemetery (German: Invalidenfriedhof)
Hi, on the subject of Graves, I came across this when I was researching GFM VON REICHENAU. I know the GFM was a early nazi in one type or another. Died from a stroke on 15th January 1942.etc. But he was a very successful and respected and capable commander, holder of the Ritterkreuz and the 10th Marshall of the 3RD REICH.
He was to be buried with Full Military honours in this cemetery.
With others who include...
Von Scharnhorst... Von Moltke.... Von Falkenhausen and Baron Von Richthofen.
But sadly reading that Fritzt Todt and Reinhard Heydrich were also buried here, this is a complete insult to the fallen who are buried here. Please see link below
(Most of the ardent Nazis had no such resting places, either buried in an unmarked grave in a wood or their ashes thrown into a river etc, as the should have.)
