I agree. This is a fantastic volume. I too have had a copy for about 6 or 7 years and although I do not specialise in cavalry items the subject is sufficiently mysterious in most areas of the subject that a really good reference is essential when considering the subject in any way.

This book has it all and you will not be disappointed. If you only ever have one cavalry reference book I would suggest it should be this one!

Thanks for the input guys. I appreciate it. As I have been collecting a lot of cavalry related items, I figured this book to be a must. It is good that the recommendations are largely positive!

    Hello again,
Just remembered that Carsten told me that the publishing house Tiger III is no longer in activity which means that there won't be any reprint...
The value of secondhand copies should increase badly one of these days as the book is really good for whom is interested in the german Kavallerie 1920-1945...

To me this book is not just a question of uniforms or specific equipment, it's imprenated with a certain spirit and traditions that do not exist anymore.
    Thanks

My copy arrived yesterday and I could tell as soon as I opened it that it was well worth the money. Very well put together and contains plenty of images that aren't often seen.
