It possibly could be a Deutsches Sportabzeichen but it is very hard to tell with these photos.

It looks very similar to the Deutsches Sportabzeichen so I will assume its that. Thank you for the guess KMMorris!

Here is a tiny photo of Walter wearing his Fliegerblouse. He has a three piece ribbon bar in this photo. I know that the medal on the far left is the 4-year service medal. I also know he got either a Sudentenland medal or a Anschluss medal but I cant tell which one it is on this ribbon bar. I'm confused as to what the third one is. Might any of you know what it is?

Here is a 1951 newspaper snippet regarding Karl Koller's death. He was a General der Flieger. My grandma gave it to me just a few days ago.

I had always had this photo of Josef in my collection but I never looked at it too closely. It clearly shows him with three piping's on his collar patch. This would be the rank of Sturmführer. It might not be entirely clear on this photo but I can assure you its there. I'll get around to posting the full picture soon. Its a large portrait photo of townspeople from Salzburg and includes a couple of servicemen in it. The date it was taken is not known unfortunately.
