I've just ordered the book listed above, which someone 'recommended' to me a few years ago, and it randomly popped into my head just now. I've been told it is pretty harrowing and grisly Re the photographs shown in it.
I was wondering if anyone had read it? There were 2 editions published I think, one with 48 illustrations and photos, the other with 200, mine is the second with more photographs, and I believe they were both published around 1943 by the Soviet Embassy (?) in London, maybe wrong. Mine is a paperback version.
Once it has arrived I'll update this thread with my thoughts on it, but in the mean time I was hoping someone could share theirs.
