SS Carving in stone

Found this today while hiking, it has the iron cross and SS at the bottom. The top looks like 1959 but actually is 1939, also says Eil Hithler. Does anyone know anything about this, why Hitler is spelled weird and anything about this circle?

I think the EIL is HEIL. The 'H' having weathered away over the years. Unusual and interesting discovery.

I agree with you about the H weathering away, not sure why Hitler is spelled weird. Also, this carving was found not far away, not sure if they're related in any way.

Maybe the person that carved it had a bad lisp and spelled it the way it sounded to him.

The top piece was DAF-Related, as the cog-wheel has had the Swastika removed....Is this on a building foundation or what is this on? These things were usually seen on completed public work-projects of the DAF and/or RAD...
